Substance Abuse Individual & Group Counseling

Transcending Beyond  offers Individual or Group therapy for our clients dealing with Substance Abuse. Based on the individual treatment plan we will determine together the best solution for your therapy and work with you every step of the way!

Individual Therapy

We provide our clients with Individual therapy. This therapy method allows the client recovering from drug or alcohol dependence to speak with a Therapist, Psychiatrist, or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner  one on one. Our practitioners are licensed trained professionals and they know and work with individuals and the struggles of recovery. We  will meet with the clients once or twice a week depending on their treatment plan.

Individual therapy allows the client and provider to dig deep into the root cause of the addiction issue in a way that they would not be able to otherwise. With one-on-one communication this setting op can be beneficial for the client and often they are able to open-up and share their thoughts and struggles freely without the pressure of others.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can involve multiple individuals and one or two providers may be a therapist, Psychiatrist, or Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner. We understand that not everyone is the same and some individuals thrive better when a group setting and need that support when dealing with recovery from drug and/or alcohol abuse. It provides the client with a wider support system and gives the other individuals in the group support as well. It helps everyone within the group and allows them to support one another.

When individuals are in group therapy it allows them to have a safe space to speak about their experiences, pains, and struggles in their journey to recovery. It also gives others who would not speak about their experiences confidence to open by hearing others speak about their experiences and their journey.

It allows the individual to connect with peers that are experiencing similar difficulties. It helps them to obtain long lasting relationships and support systems to help them even after their therapy ends.
